The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (abbreviated RHOBH) is an American reality television series that premiered on October 14, 2010, on Bravo. Developed as the sixth series in The Real Housewives franchise, it has aired eleven seasons and focuses on the personal and professional lives of several women residing in Beverly Hills, California.
For the upcoming twelfth season, it was announced that the cast would consist of Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, Crystal Kung Minkoff, and Diana Jenkins, while Kathy Hilton and Sheree Zampino would appear from time to time as “friends of the housewives,” as these were called. Previous cast members had included original housewives Camille Grammer Meyer, Taylor Armstrong, Adrienne Maloof, Kim Richards, and Lisa Vanderpump, and also subsequent housewives Brandi Glanville, Yolanda Hadid, Carlton Gebbia, Joyce Giraud de Ohoven, Eileen Davidson, Kathryn Edwards, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, and Denise Richards.
The success of the show resulted in the creation of the spin-off Vanderpump Rules.
