When will Love Island Australia air?

Love Island Australia Season 3 is set to premiere on Monday, October 11 at 8.45pm, following The Block on Nine and 9Now.

In response to recent developments, production will be going ahead for our audiences.

9Network’s Program Director, Hamish Turner, said: “We acknowledge the Mayor’s comments and although disappointing we are planning to ensure Love Island production, which has not commenced filming, is completed within existing regulations to ensure the show is ready for our audiences. All productions are conducted in accordance with the strictest health and safety regulations, testing, and isolation.”

Who are the Islanders?

As always, a fresh mix of sexy singles will descend on the Villa to strike up romantic connections. They will need to remain Coupled Up or else they risk being Dumped from Love Island.

We haven’t met any of this year’s Islanders yet, but they are sure to be unveiled soon.

Where is Love Island Australia being filmed?

For the first time, Love Island Australia will be filmed in our own backyard. A new Villa is being built in Federal, which is located in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia.

There were originally plans for the show to film in Port Douglas, but due to lockdowns and changing border restrictions the decision was made for production to stay in NSW, for the safety of everyone involved.

“As a result of the current COVID-19 situation and fluctuating border restrictions, we have decided to move the filming location of the upcoming third season of Love Island Australia to Federal, northern NSW,” said David Mott, ITV Studios Australia CEO & Managing Director.

“This decision has been made with the best interests and safety of all cast and crew involved. We have found a brilliant location and can’t wait to get started.”

Who is hosting Love Island Australia?

Sophie Monk will make a splash — quite literally, have you seen the promo where she’s a mermaid? — as she returns to the series for the third time. Brace yourself for more sexy slow-motion walking from Sophie as she struts to the Villa to deliver surprise news or tell Islanders they’ve been Dumped.

Who is the voice of Love Island Australia?

Irish comedian Stephen Mullan joins the team as the ‘voice’ of the show. He’ll be providing hilarious commentary as the sexy singles navigate their new relationships and participate in challenges in the Villa.

Fans of Love Island UK may know of Aftersun, the weekly live studio aftershow that keeps the Love Island conversation going.

Who won the first two seasons of Love Island Australia?

The winners of Love Island Australia are determined by a public vote.

Grant Crapp and Tayla Damir won the first season, but sadly they broke up two weeks after the finale aired because Tayla learned the rumours of Grant’s ‘secret girlfriend on the outside’ were true.

Tayla is now engaged to AFL player Nathan Broad, of the Richmond Tigers. Grant and his girlfriend Lucy Cartwright — yes, the same girlfriend he had while he was on Love Island — recently welcomed a baby girl named Charli together.

Season 2’s winning couple was Anna McEvoy and Josh Packham. They moved in together in Melbourne after the show, but sadly announced their split in November 2020, almost a year after their finale.

Josh is currently competing on The Block with twin brother Luke — who was also on Love Island — while Anna is recording a podcast with fellow Islander Matt Zukowski. They both appear to be single.
