Celebrity Treasure Island is a reality TV show that pits celebrities against each other in a series of physical and mental challenges on a tropical island. • Shavaughn Ruakere, a TV presenter and actress and third place of season 3
• Tammy Davis, an actor and director and fourth place of season 2

The season consists of 15 episodes, each lasting about 42 minutes. The episodes are aired weekly, from Monday to Wednesday, at 7:30 PM. The season follows the same format as the previous seasons, with some twists and surprises along the way.

The season begins with the fans and faves arriving at the island by boat. They are divided into two teams: Team Mako (blue) and Team Vai (red). Each team has four fans and four faves. The teams are chosen by two captains: Art Green for Team Mako and Chris Parker for Team Vai. The captains are selected by drawing straws.

The teams compete in various challenges to earn money for their chosen charities, as well as food, water, comfort items, clues to hidden treasures, and immunity from elimination. The challenges are either team-based or individual-based. The team-based challenges are usually physical or mental tasks that require teamwork and strategy. The individual-based challenges are usually endurance or skill tests that require stamina and determination.

The losing team of each team-based challenge has to face the elimination ceremony at night. There, they have to vote out one of their own members. The vote is done by writing the name of the person they want to eliminate on a piece of paper and placing it in a wooden box. The host then reads out the votes and reveals who is eliminated. The eliminated person has to leave the island immediately.

The game changes when there are only eight players left: four from each team. This is when the merge happens. The teams are dissolved and the players compete as individuals. They have to wear black buffs instead of their team colors. They also have to move to a new campsite on another part of the island.

The challenges after the merge are all individual-based. The winner of each challenge earns immunity from elimination and a necklace with a shark tooth pendant to symbolize it. They also get to choose one other person to join them for a reward, such as a feast, a spa treatment, or a visit from a loved one.

The elimination ceremony after the merge is different from before. Instead of voting out one person, the players have to vote for one person they want to keep in the game. The person with the least votes is eliminated. The vote is done by placing a shell with the name of the person they want to keep on a wooden board.

The game continues until there are only three players left. These are the finalists who will compete in the final challenge: a race across the island that involves various obstacles and puzzles. The first person to reach the finish line wins the game and $100,000 for their charity.

The winner is announced at the live finale show in Auckland, where all the eliminated players are reunited with their families and friends. The host interviews the finalists and reveals who won by showing their name on a giant screen. The winner also receives a trophy with a golden shark tooth pendant.
