Love Island US Season 05 Episode 37 Description
The episode kicked off with the islanders spending their night together, discussing how happy they were to have made it to the finale. The following morning, they all got texts about their final dates coming up. Kassy and Leo were up first and traveled by helicopter to a romantic beach picnic. On the date, Leo told Kassy he has to finish school but afterward is willing to move to wherever she wants him to so they can be together. He then asked her to be his girlfriend, and she said yes. Carmen and Kenzo were alerted via text that they were up next. Meanwhile, Hannah and Bergie hung out on the beach at the villa.
The two expressed how grateful they are to have met each other because they formed such a great friendship throughout the season. Bergie even confessed Hannah is the first girl best friend he has ever had. During Carmen and Kenzo’s date, they were greeted by a chorus, and then sat down for their date, where they discussed baby names, and Kenzo made it clear he wants to marry Carmen and be with her for the rest of his life. The two also told each other they loved each other for the first time. Bergie and Taylor were the next to go on their date, and by now, it was dark out in Fiji. The two had a romantic date on the beach at night and were greeted by fire breather performers.
During the date, Bergie read Taylor a letter he had written to a potential future girlfriend because before his mother passed away, she used to write him letters. He then asked Taylor to be his girlfriend, and she happily said yes. Finally, it was time for Marco and Hannah’s date, and she admitted she was open to moving for him. Like the others, Marco also asked Hannah to be his girlfriend, and she said yes without hesitation. For their date, they received a romantic acoustic performance from a singer. Next, they returned to the villa, and the islanders went to bed for the last time on Love Island USA.
The next day, the female islanders went to try on dresses for the finale while the male islanders stayed back at the villa and wrote their speeches. The female islanders wrote theirs after finding the perfect dress for the winners ceremony. Later, they all got ready and went outside by the pool for the finale. They read each other their speeches, and Sarah Hyland arrived to crown the Love Island USA season 5 winner. Bergie admitted that Taylor, his first girlfriend, is different than girls he’s dated in the past, and Kenzo admitted he wants to propose to Carmen, though she thinks they need to pace themselves.
Finally, it was time to reveal which couple had won Love Island USA season 5. Kenzo and Carmen came in fourth place, and Bergie and Taylor came in third place. Neither couple seemed to care, as they were just happy to be leaving the villa with a connection. Finally, Sarah crowned Hannah and Marco as the winners, with Kassy and Leo coming in second place. The two both picked an envelope, and Marco chose the $100,000 but, without hesitation, decided to split the money with Hannah and leave the Love Island USA villa together.
