The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15 premiere kicks off with a bang as the ladies attend Sanya Richards-Ross’s Harlem Nights–themed party for her husband Ross’s 40th birthday. The lavish event costs $100,000 and features live performances, casino games, and plenty of drama.
The episode begins with Shereé Whitfield introducing her new boyfriend Tyrone Gilliams, who was recently released from prison after serving eight years for fraud. Shereé claims that Tyrone is her soulmate and that they have been together for six years, despite his incarceration. She also brings along her new friend Courtney Rhodes, who is an entrepreneur and a friend of Tyrone.
However, not everyone is happy to see Shereé’s new boo. Kandi Burruss reveals that she has some history with Tyrone, who used to leak stories to the press about her and other housewives. She also accuses Shereé of being fake and using Courtney as a pawn to get back at her for making fun of her clothing line She by Shereé on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Kenya Moore shows off her new boyfriend Brandon, who is a successful businessman and a former NFL player. She says that she is ready to move on from her divorce with Marc Daly and find love again. However, she gets a shocking surprise when she learns that Brandon used to date Kandi Burruss in the past and that he was her first sexual partner.
The episode also features some appearances by former housewives Cynthia Bailey and Kim Zolciak-Biermann, who join the party as guests. Cynthia celebrates her one-year anniversary with Mike Hill and reunites with some of her old friends. Kim makes a surprising comeback and causes some drama with Kenya Moore, who calls her out for being racist and homophobic.
The episode ends with a dramatic confrontation between Kandi and Shereé at the dinner table, where Kandi threatens to headbutt Shereé if she doesn’t stop talking about her. The other ladies try to calm them down, but the tension is high as they prepare for the next episode.
